Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 is almost here. After spending some quality with this game, I can’t wait to tell you all about it next Wednesday (I’m going be late on it because I’ll be camera side at All In this weekend). But today Insomniac Games shared more details on the reason we’ll all be going back to the game once you finish this epic Spidey story with its post-launch downloadable content the three-part Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps.

Beginning on October 23rd with Spider-Man: The Heist, this opening chapter expands on Felicia Hardy as the Black Cat lures Spidey onto her trail. Players will get new missions and challenges, as well as a brand new faction of enemies and three additional suits to unlock.

Insomniac also revealed the release calendar for all three chapters of Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps:

  • October 23: Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist
  • November 2018: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars
  • December 2018: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining

You can preorder all three installments in a bundle through the digital PlayStation Store for $24.99 or you can purchase them separately for $9.99 each. We don’t know the length of each piece of DLC but I can tell you so far I’m about 18hrs in on Spidey and still not finished with the main story so $24.99 for a tale in three chapter sized portions of this game is on it’s way to being alright by me when it comes to DLC justification.

Marvel’s Spider-Man launches exclusively on PlayStation 4 September 7, 2018. If you order the deluxe digital edition you’ll already have access to the City That Never Sleeps DLC when it becomes available.
