Marvel has announced the return of the hit Marvel Zombies characters this fall, with Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood, a four part anthology in the style of their popular Black, White & Red anthologies. The first issue will feature stories from Garth Ennis and Rachael Stott, Alex Segura and Javi Fernández, and Ashley Allen and Justin Mason, along with a gore-tastic main cover from Gabriele Dell’Otto
The Marvel Zombies initially debuted in Ultimate Fantastic Four #22 from Mark Millar and Greg Land, where they tricked the Ultimate FF into traveling to their universe. A massive success, they’ve since been featured in a number of spin-offs, including the original Marvel Zombies miniseries from zombie guru Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips, and their most recent appearance in 2020’s Marvel Zombies: Resurrection by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Leonard Kirk. The characters were also seen in the What If… series on Disney+, and are soon to be featured in their own series, set to premiere sometime in 2024.
