The new DC Comics animated direct-to-video movie Justice Society: World War II was released not too long ago on Digital. Be sure to read The Beat‘s interview with the cast and crew here. In anticipation of the Blu-ray/DVD release tomorrow, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released a new video interview with Liam McIntyre, the voice of Wonder Woman.

McIntyre is no stranger to the DC Universe Movies after recurring appearances as the voice of Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. The Australian actor is well-known as the lead character in Spartacus, and for playing Weather Wizard in The Flash, as well as for his current regular roles on ThemStar Wars Resistance and providing a variety of voices for Family Guy.

In three interview bites (tied together), Liam McIntyre discusses finding the correct balance for the voice of Aquaman, imbuing this version of the King of Atlantis with the appropriate, powerful/authoritative attitude; and the brave leave-them-wanting-more approach to the overall story of Justice Society: World War II.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated Justice Society: World War II is now available via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital, and coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray tomorrow May 11, 2021.

Justice Society: World War II finds modern-day Barry Allen – prior to the formation of the Justice League – discovering he can run even faster than he imagined, and that milestone results in his first encounter with the Speed Force. The Flash is promptly launched into the midst of a raging battle – primarily between Nazis and a team of Golden Age DC Super Heroes known as The Justice Society of America. Led by Wonder Woman, the group includes Hourman, Black Canary, Hawkman, Steve Trevor and the Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. The Flash quickly volunteers to assist his fellow heroes in tipping the scales of war in their favor, while the team tries to figure out how to send him home. But it won’t be easy as complications and emotions run deep in this time-skipping World War II thriller.
