Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, a sequel to last year’s animated movie Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, arrives in just a few short weeks. In anticipation, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released four new Battle of the Realms images putting the spotlight on some characters who don’t get as much attention as the usual suspects including Kung Lao, D’Vorah, Shinnok & Shang Tsung.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation in coordination with NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the feature-length animated film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack on August 31, 2021.

Never underestimate the lord of Netherrealm. Shinnok’s plans involve sending Scorpion on a quest to find a mystical key – whether Scorpion wants to comply or not. Robin Atkin Downes (The Strain, Batman: The Killing Joke) provides the voice of Shinnok. The film arrives on Digital, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack on August 31, 2021.
