While the details of both Marvel and DC’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic hasn’t been clarified yet – and what comics will be on sale this Wednesday and in what form isn’t clear. But DC publisher Jim Lee is staring his own benefit for brick and mortar shops, as announced on his Instagram.

Lee will auction a sketch a day for 60 days starting on April 1st.

It was Jim Lee’s first public facing comment on the current crisis. Over the weekend, DC announced plans to seek alternative print and digital distribution for shops and customers that can accept it while Diamond is no longer shipping new product.

Lee’s idea met with general approval and other creators are joining in, including Rob Liefeld.

As a month of lockdown has been announced for the United States, more of these efforts are sure to come.
