Planet of the Nerds — the Ahoy Comics series about jocks getting frozen in the ’80s and thawed in the 2010s — will get an introduction penned by Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings when it is collected in trade paperback this fall.

The series will wrap up at the end of this month with Planet of the Nerds #5. Through its run, it has drawn comparisons to ’80s Hollywood teen flicks like Revenge of the NerdsThe Breakfast ClubBack to the Future, and more. Written by Paul Constant, it has been illustrated by artists such as Randy Elliott, Alan Robinson, and others. It’s also been critically-acclaimed. On this very website, in fact, we’ve called it “highly satisfying” and “sharp.”

The collected edition of the series with the intro by Jennings is due out Oct. 29, and you can pre-order it through Amazon now.
