NetherRealm Studios creative director, Ed Boon tweeted out news that the highly anticipated DC Comics fighting game Injustice 2 would get a new mobile version of the game. He also posted the first screenshots of the game along with his tweet. While no release date was given, Boon did mention there would be “new features, modes, and an all-new combat system”. The first Injustice mobile game also allowed players to unlock cosmetic additions for characters in the console version through WB ID by signing into both games.
WB also released a new Black Canary walkthrough video detailing the characters moves and strategies for her upcoming fighting game debut.
Injustice 2 comes out on consoles May 16, 2017, Injustice 2 the digital-first comic series comes out in April, Injustice 2 the mobile version comes out in TBA.
