His Dark Materials fans in California and Philadelphia are getting a unique opportunity from HBO. The company announced on Wednesday that it will host free His Dark Materials pop-ups at select public libraries, including advanced screenings of the new TV series (adapted from Philip Pullman‘s bestselling trilogy of the same name). The show premieres on BBC Nov. 3 and HBO on Nov. 4, but these screenings take place as early as Oct. 26.

Along with a sneak preview of the His Dark Materials series premiere, guests who attend the pop-ups can also participate in daemon-matching quizzes, themed scavenger hunts, and photo opportunities. Plus, the scavenger hunt has a cool prize: guests who successfully complete it will receive the newly re-released paperback edition of The Golden Compass (also known as The Northern Lights), the first book in the trilogy (while supplies last). According to the press release, additional activities at each location will vary.
