Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy fans- get ready for some good news. On Thursday, DC announced exclusively through CBR that the couple is reuniting for a six issue miniseries. Their latest story will spin out of the events in the controversial Heroes in Crisis, where they solved a murder mystery they were suspects in and Poison Ivy died and was brought back to life. Writer Jody Houser (Star Wars, Critical Role) and artist Adriana Melo (Female Furies) pick up where this eventful reunification left off in their upcoming series.

From Gotham City Sirens, to previous miniseries, these two have loads of history, so this announcement is highly anticipated. The six issue miniseries is said to be totally ingrained in the current DC continuity, which makes sense given its Heroes in Crisis roots. It also begins as DC’s Year of the Villain event is in full swing. Solicitations hint that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy will be drastically affected by those outside events and – looking at the first issue’s cover – it seems they’ll have a love on the run story. See the details yourself.
“Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are taking their show on the road in this new miniseries! They’ll have to evade villains and heroes alike while they explore their relationship and unpack their time and experiences at Sanctuary. Set after the events of HEROES IN CRISIS and smack in the middle of “Year of the Villain,” it’s a journey across the DC Universe that will change their friendship forever…if they live that long!”
