Back in February Glitch Techs, the long-awaited animated project years in the making from Dan Milano and Eric Robles finally premiered on Netflix. Since then the show about teens secretly hunting down video game monsters that  have escaped into the real world has developed an incredibly dedicated fanbase. A lot has changed in the world since the premiere to say the least. But fear not, your friends at Hinobi are back with new episodes! Check out the Glitch Techs Season 2 trailer below.

There’s a new recruit for the team named Ridley joining the team, voiced by none other than Ashly Burch who also works on the show as a staff writer. She’s not the only new voice this season. As revealed by Milano on Twitter, veteran voice actress Cree Summer will be playing a character named Geri Lawson, an homage that video game aficionados will recognize as the namesake of Gerald Lawson, pioneer of the game cartridge. Incidentally, Milano and Summer previously worked together on DreamWorks’ Dawn of the Croods animated series where they played husband and wife.

Glitch Techs Season 2Summer isn’t the only Dawn of the Croods alumnus involved in Glitch Techs. AJ LoCasio who voiced their son Thunk (though let’s be honest, he’s probably best known for his performance in Prince Lotor in Voltron: Legendary Defender that launched thousands of fanart pieces) is lending his talents to the second season, this time on the writing side.

Seriously, I can’t recommend Glitch Techs enough. If you aren’t watching, you are missing out on one of the most under the radar and delightful animated series produced in the last decade. There’s a reason that Variety included Glitch Techs in its “Inclusive Shows for the Whole Family to Watch” curated list of programs that can have a positive impact on youth audiences while being fun and entertaining.

Things to look forward to as teased by Robles on his Twitter:

What’s up with Miko being unable to get mind wiped?
-Where’s High Fives dad?
-Who’s Ridley? What’s up with Mitch?
-What’s the deal with the Hinobi Company?

Be sure to catch new episodes Glitch Techs on Netflix August 17!
