Marvel and Dotdash Meredith are giving us a sneak peek at the all-new MARVEL COMICS: THE FANTASTIC FOUR, out July 4. A “bookazine” that will be available at local comic stores, bringing together in-depth explorations of Marvel’s history and showcasing some of the inspiration for the new Fantastic Four film, in theaters July 25. The new “bookazine” will reprint introductory issues of some of FF’s most iconic comic book runs, including:

-Fantastic Four #60 (2002) “Inside Out” written by Mark Waid and drawn by Mike Wieringo

-Fantastic Four #570 (2009) “Solve Everything” written by Jonathan Hickman and drawn by Dale Eaglesham 

-Fantastic Four #1 (2022) “The Last Town to the Left” written by Ryan North and drawn by Iban Coello

The “bookazine” will be available in two collectible covers featuring artwork by Arthur Adams, Christina Strain, and Phil Noto. Check them out below:

It will feature “an illustrated look at the origin of the team by renowned artist Alex Ross, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and interviews with Marvel Studios Executive Producer Grant Curtis and Creative Director of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding.”

Fans will also receive a code to unlock over $30 in free digital comics to continue each storyline for FREE on the Marvel Unlimited app. So you can dig into even more Fantastic Four stories!

All-new MARVEL COMICS: THE FANTASTIC FOUR will be out at local comic stores on July 4.

  1. Nothing by lee/kirby, busema, byrne, defaco what’s the point? Criticism lee/kirby did alot more than the first 10 issues and the surfer trilogy. There is fandom that exists before 2000.
    Won’t buy it or see the movie!

  2. the aesthetic of the movie seems very retro, i’m also not sure why they wouldn’t go with more classic stories.
