Noelle Stevenson posts a “year in review” comic every December. The creator of Nimona and now showrunner on She-Ra doesn’t do many comics these days, which is sad, and these show her in a rare autobiographical mood. It’s not Stevenson’s usual genre, but when she goes there it’s powerful stuff.
This year’s directly addresses how much she’s achieved at such a young age via a conversation with her six years younger self.
This kind of thing is tought at any age; that Stevenson digs so deep shows why she’s already achieved so much before even turning 26.
Not everyone will have done as much as Stevenson in six years, but there’s some solid wisdom about moving through life here, regardless of any age.
