It seems that the X-Men universe is gearing up for some major events determining the fate of all Mutantkind with the release of Fall of the House of X along with Rise of the Powers of X. This January, these two interconnected series are set to cross space and time, in a conclusion that will close out the Krakoan era of the X-Men, ending the critically acclaimed run started by Jonathan Hickman back in 2019.
The impact of these mythos-shattering stories will extend to the current X-MEN ongoing series, where the team will finally confront Nimrod, a critical threat to mutantkind. Additionally, several special limited series, including CABLE, DEAD X-MEN, and RESURRECTION OF MAGNETO, will explore epic quests stemming from the events of Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X. There will also be a milestone 50th issue of X-FORCE, which promises to take a character-redefining turn for the iconic X-Men superhero Beast. A character who coincidentally, has been making a bit of a splash in the MCU.
