Marvel’s Acts of Evil annuals event continues as heroes (and vigilantes) face off against unexpected foes. This week, in She-Hulk Annual (2019) #1, Jennifer Walters takes on the deadliest marksman in the Marvel U: Bullseye. But before she does that, she has to navigate… having a robot body? She probably should have been paying attention while Reed Richards was talking…

In the first pages of her 2019 Annual, we see Jen in a flashback to “a few years ago,” and things are already extra weird, which is par for the course in Acts of Evil. Marvel provided The Beat with an exclusive, five-page preview of the issue, on sale August 28. Take a look at the preview below and be sure to pick up a copy of She-Hulk Annual (2019) #1 at your local comic shop on Wednesday.

ACTS OF EVIL! Bullseye being hired for an assassination? Just another Tuesday. But when he decides to pin it on She-Hulk? Bad idea. Strap in as everyone’s favorite lawyer-slash-Hulk, Jennifer Walters, takes on the mad marksman in a classic case of character defamation…with a heaping helping of SMASH. Plus: Robots! Why? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see…

  1. Shouldn’t really be a challenge for her. But as I recall when I last looked at Jen was in Avengers and somewhat unstable.
