The most unexpected teamup book continues with issue #2 of Dynamite Comics’ Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica. The mystery deepens as the body count rises at Riverdale High. Despite being severely out of place in the quaint town of Riverdale, Vampi and Red Sonja continue their investigation while Betty and Veronica butt heads with the editor of the school newspaper over their news coverage of the murder investigation. Could this mean there is a cover-up happening inside their school and who is behind the scandal?
Writer Amy Chu (Red Sonja, KISS: The End, Poison Ivy) and artist Maria Laura Sanapo (DC Comics Bombshells, Charmed) continue on the series that brings together four of the most iconic female characters in comics history. The second issue features covers by Fay Dalton, Robert Hack, Laura Braga, Dan Parent, and Cat Staggs, each with their own vibe including an Archie Comics inspired version, one with all four gals taking a selfie, and others illustrating the mystery the leading ladies have gotten themselves into. Fans can also snag black and white versions for their collection.
