Hot on the heels of Godkiller: Spiderland’s massive success (and sold-out status in just 24 hours), Black Mask’s popular series has already been renewed for a fifth installment to release next year. The new volume will be called Godkiller: For Those I Love I Will Sacrifice. Scheduled for Spring 2022, the book will continue its streak as Black Mask’s all-time longest-running and bestselling series.
Created by Matteo Pizzolo and Anna Muckcracker, painters Nen Chang and Liz Tecca return with a handpainted cover featuring the sardonic bounty hunter Soledad. Series artist Muckcracker takes inspiration from Tommy’s psychotic descent into madness in a variant cover, and Maria Llovet adds a NSFW wraparound to finish off her triptych of Godkiller covers.
