From 1951 until 1954, EC Comics published Frontline Combat, an anthology series of gritty war stories. Over the course of 15 issues, writer/editor Harvey Kurtzman and a group of artistic luminaries including Wally WoodJohn Severin,  Alex Toth, and Joe Kubert, among many others, produced stories presenting the stark realities of war. Now Dark Horse is digitally remastering Frontline Combat as part of their ongoing EC Archives series. These stories feature legendary creators in their heyday, and tell powerful stories that inform and realistically portray the horrors and heroism of warfare.
