It has been 25 years since Chaos! Comics made its mark, and to celebrate, Dynamite Comics is launching a new limited series featuring one of the most popular characters from the era with Chastity #1. Writer Leah Williams (Gwenpool, Barbarella/Dejah Thoris) and artist Daniel Maine (Robyn Hood) lead the book. The series will also feature covers by Clayton Crain (Venom and X-Force), Nick Bradshaw (Wolverine & the X-Men, Army of Darkness), Catherine Nodet (X-Files), and David Nakayama (Ant-Man & the Wasp, Secret Agent Deadpool). Fans can also look for a special J. Scott Campbell “Carve Out” incentive cover that calls back to the start of the Dynamite Chaos! era as well as a special surprise cover from Jay Anacleto (Hercules, Vampirella/Dejah Thoris).
Punk-rock-fan-turned-vampire Chastity Jack has been kidnapped while auditioning for a prestigious New York City burlesque show. She wakes up surrounded by a dozen young women in chains on a spooky cruise ship in the middle of nowhere. Her captors, who congratulate the prisoners for joining the cast, will soon learn that through Chastity’s rampage to free herself and her fellow victims they may have selected the wrong girl to kidnap for their human trafficking ring.
