Last September, IDW Publishing launched a new Casey Jones six-issue miniseries from the creative team of from the creative team of writer Alex Paknadel and artist Amancay Nahuelpan. Since debuting in the 1985 Raphael micro series issue from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mirage Studios comics run, the character has been a loyal ally of the Heroes in the Half Shell and a fan-favorite. The Beat is proud to exclusively reveal preview pages for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Casey Jones #3 available later this month on December 17, 2025. 

As mentioned when it was first announced, the miniseries introduced a new foe, a mutant snow leopard named Ludovic who preys on New York City’s most vulnerable mutants. In an interview with The Beat, writer Alex Paknadel teased a few things about Ludovic, revealing:
 
The thing to understand at this stage is that he hunts mutants because he viscerally despises them – and by extension himself. To him, humanity is the pinnacle of creation. He fancies himself a Renaissance man, surrounding himself with fine wine, classical music and antiques. The only thing is, none of the humans whose approval he craves think of him as anything other than a well-trained animal.
