If you have been following along with Transmissions from the Cave, then you’ll want to make note of a time change for the weekly stream: episodes will now stream at 12:00 PM Pacific Time, 3:00 PM Eastern Time, an hour later than the show has historically been scheduled.

October Lineup

October

October’s schedule for Transmissions from the Cave is looking a little Grimm! That’s because this month will be all about the upcoming suitably seasonally spooky horror comic anthology, Grimm Tales from the Cave (learn more about this scintillating and scary October release by reading The Beat’s interview with multiple members of the creative team).

The spookening begins next Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, when the creators behind the story “Weft,” author Mario Candelaria and colorist Luca Romano appear for an interview.

Then, on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021, there will be an interview with the creators behind the story “Little Deaths,” author Malissa White and artist Rio Burton.

On Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, a “Draw This In Your Style” session will take place with artist Rowan MacColl (who worked on the story “Hello, My Name Is…” for Grimm Tales from the Cave).

And finally, coinciding with the release of the book on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, there will be a live drawing with “Pay the Piper” artist Luisa Russo.

Grimm Tales this autumn

Will you be picking up Grimm Tales from the Cave when it arrives at your local comic shop on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, just in time for Halloween? Are you going to be tuning in to Transmissions from the Cave on Wednesdays throughout the month of October? Who do you hope to see on the Twitch stream in November?

We want to hear from you! Give The Beat a shout-out, either here in the comment section or over on social media @comicsbeat!
