If you need new dice or just want to get in the head of one an excellent Dungeons and Dragons character, Wizards of the Coast has you covered. The company announced a new Explorer’s Kit on Monday that builds on 2018’s Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, featuring Forgotten Realms insights from none other than Laeral Silverhand.
Centuries-old mage and daughter of the goddess of magic Laeral Silverhand is also the Open Lord of Waterdeep. She’ll guide players on a path to adventure with her Explorer’s Kit, which includes 11 dice in a durable, felt-lined box that also functions as two dice trays, as well as 20 illustrated, double-sided cards with Laeral’s insights on key characters, locations, and lore. The kit also contains a foldout, double-sided map of the Sword Coast and the bustling, influential city of Waterdeep, which is also the setting for last year’s mobile game Warriors of Waterdeep.
