Just one day after launching Mirka Andolfo’s new horror-comedy series, Blasfamous, DSTLRY has released incentive covers for issue #2. In addition to main cover art and a variant by Andolfo, The Beat can exclusively reveal incentive variants from Jorge CoronaSweeney Boo, and Alberto Locatelli

In a similar vein to the iconic fantasy series The Wicked + The Divine, Andolfo’s Blasfamous explores the concept of celebrity as divinity. When pop queen Clelia’s spotlight is threatened by a charming newcomer, she and her demonic agent, Father Lev, must struggle to remain relevant—and maintain the power that comes with stardom. The series spins out of the five-page story “A Blessed Day” from DSTLRY’s wildly popular debut series, The Devil’s Cut.

DSTLRY has released two open-order covers for Blasfamous #2 by Andolfo, seen below.

“With each of my series, I love conjuring new fictions of fantasy and wonder wrapped around some of the hottest sociological issues we face in reality,” Andolfo said about the series’s announcement last fall. “Blasfamous picks apart what it means to worship—whether it’s a prophet or pop star. It’s also a new opportunity to draw some of the most lavish and exhilarating spectacles of my career, with an oversized canvas to make every page truly sing.”

Blasfamous #1 is currently available from your local comic book shop and DSTLRY.co, with a variety of variant covers by Andolfo, Tula Lotay, Artgerm, and more. Issue #2 is available for pre-order now.
