Next week AfterShock Comics will release Dogs of London #4. The latest issue of the crime series comes from writer Peter Milligan, artist Artecida, colorist Valentina Bianconi, and letterer Rob Steen. Today The Beat can share an exclusive preview of the issue, which finds Frank reminiscing on times past both good and bad.

Here’s how AfterShock describes Dogs of London #4:

Its been many years since Frank was incarcerated in the hellhole that was juvenile detention,  otherwise known as Borstal. Now he has to go back, because it was here that The Dogs were made, it was here that so many terrible things happened to them, and it might be here where the answers lie.

In a statement back when the series was first announced, Milligan outlined three reasons why readers should pick up the book:

    1. I’ve never written anything quite like it – and I don’t think readers will have read anything quite like it either.
    2. For all its violence, brutality, and weird science – and there’s plenty of all that – at the heart of DOGS OF LONDON is a love story. Romeo wears a stolen wristwatch. Juliet wears Mary Quaint. And neither expect to get out of here alive.
    3. Artecida’s art is amazing, effortlessly moving between different times zones and moods.
