Disney Dreamlight Valley finally adds Wreck-It-Ralph in ‘Pixel Perfect’ free update

Nearly four years after launch and three years after his adorable bestie, Vanellope, was added to the game, Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley will introduce the titular star of Wreck-It-Ralph in the upcoming “Pixel Perfect” free update.

Launching on all platforms on July 29, “Pixel Perfect” will introduce a new player quest to team up with Vanellope and rescue Ralph from a mysterious arcade machine. The new storyline also introduces a new season including the “Pop City Star Path,” which will introduce free and premium rewards including new outfits and furniture, a feline companion, and city-inspired customization items.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has also announced the return of limited-time in-game events including “Summer Sizzle” and “Memory Mania.” The “Parks Floating Festival” will make its debut with new rewards for solving the island’s puzzles.

Last, but not least, the “Pixel Perfect” update will introduce several gameplay improvements:

• Bulk removal tools for decorating/redecorating
• Give villagers multiple gifts at once
• Re-roll villagers’ favorite gifts of the day to level up their Friendship faster
• Unlock new Best Friends benefits when maxing out a villager’s Friendship Level
  • Best Friend Glow unlocks increased sprint duration and MAX level profession bonuses while hanging out with a villager

Players who have the Storybook Vale Expansion will receive three new Floating Island inspired by the Bind, Mythopia, and Everafter to decorate and customize.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now for Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch 1/2, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The “Pixel Perfect” free update launches July 29.
