We’re only 2 days away until the mega crossover that is CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths event this Sunday. After releasing a teaser trailer last Tuesday to whet our appetites that included among many things glimpses of Tom Welling as the Smallville version of Clark Kent as well as Kevin Conroy making his live-action debut as Bruce Wayne, it appears that The CW decided to grace fans with a Crisis on Infinite Earths extended trailer .

It appears that Beat writer Joe Grunewald who’s been going above and beyond with our Crisis coverage the past year gets his wish of seeing the Shadow Demons from the original comic series by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez in the live-action crossover event. Speaking of shadows, we get the distinct silhouette of what is most likely the Anti-Monitor played by LaMonica Garrett who also portrays his positive counterpart the Monitor. As fans will recall, the first image of Garrett as the Anti-Monitor was released back in October. We also get a little more of Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne talking with Kate Kane (Ruby Rose). And no, you didn’t imagine it. That is indeed Wil Wheaton holding the “End of the World is Nigh” sign. Of course, the biggest takeaway is the homage to the classic “Death of Superman” storyline complete with the famous image of his tattered cape blowing in the wind. Although it looks to be Supergirl Earth-38 versions of Superman and Lois Lane Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, seeing as Superman & Lois pilot is in development, there’s probably more going on than meets the eye.

Check out a few choice screengrabs from the trailer below, or just watch it again and bask in the Crisis-y goodness. The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths event kicks off this Sunday at 8PM Eastern.
