May was a five-Wednesday month, wherein publishers typically shop more titles than they do in a normal month, and Image was no exception: they shipped 60 comics in May, compared to 52 comics in April, 59 in March (also a five-Weds month), 49 in February, 45 in January, 47 in December, 48 in November, 55 in October and 52 in September. They shipped only 41 comics in May 2016.
