BOOM! Studios first teased the horror comic crossover back at New York Comic Con ‘25; now we get a look at the covers for Swamp Thing is Killing the Children #1. Written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by Werther Dell’Edera, Swamp Thing is Killing the Children clashes modern and classic horror characters when Erica Slaughter and Swamp Thing meet in this 60-page book, in stores December 2nd and on FOC October 19.
The announcement created excitement, with Tynion explaining the new title during the Tiny Onion NYCC’25 panel: “DC does want me to confirm that the real Swamp Thing that you love doesn’t actually kill children. There were some people nervous about the title.”
Swamp Thing is Killing the Children #1 will have a main cover by Dell’Edera, as well as variants covers by Tyler Boss, Jenny Frison, Martin Morazzo, Hayden Sherman and Gabriele Dell’Otto.
