Let’s face it, everyone in comics is pretty much talking about Bendis’ exclusive deal with DC Comics so pretty much anything else is getting lost in the waves. But you gotta admire Marvel for plowing ahead.

In case you didn’t hear, Marvel announced that starting in January, the Avengers title will now be a weekly title with issue #675 kicking off the next major blockbuster storyline Avengers: No Surrender.

Ending the two other ancillary Avengers titles, U.S. Avengers and Uncanny Avengers, writer Mark Waid will be joined by Al Ewing and Jim Zub. Running 3 months, the first month will be drawn Pepe Larraz, followed by Kim Jacinto, and Paco Medina in the final month. A teaser image hints that that Bruce Banner, the original Hulk, will be returning after giving up the mantle in 2015 and getting killed off during 2016’s Civil War 2. It’s like they say, nobody stays dead in comics!

Marvel has unveiled a new teaser trailer that you can see below.

Not surprisingly, perhaps in anticipation for their appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos’ Black Order will be featured, despite nearly all of the members biting the dust. Again, this being comics, you can’t expect something like death get in the way of media synergy.
