Stanley “Artgerm” Lau has added his unmatched cover style to Vampirella. Dynamite Comics has released a sneak peek at his cover for issue #2 of Christopher Priest’s new ongoing series debuting this summer. Available in dressed and virgin variants, Artgerm worked closely with the publisher’s team to produce the unique color variation as a complement to his full color cover.
The Daughter of Draculon makes her big return to an ongoing series this July, which also happens to be her 50th anniversary. Writer Priest and artist Ergün Gündüz lead the way in a series that is already making history as the most successful Vampirella book in the modern era as well as one of the top books for the whole summer—and it’s only in preorders!
In addition to Artgerm’s covers, the new series has covers from Frank Cho, Alex Ross, Guillem March, Joe Jusko, Adam Hughes, and more, each capturing Vampirella in different poses and perspectives.
Vampirella #1 has a Final Order Cutoff of Monday June 24, so fans are encouraged to contact their local comic shop to get their copies. Retailers can check to see if their existing orders qualify to unlock these limited covers for their customers, and if not, they have time to increase their numbers to guarantee copies in their stores.
