Boom! Studios unveiled a variant cover for Buffy the Vampire Slayer #5 today, featuring brooding vamp with a soul Angel. The cover for this pivotal issue is the work of fan favorite artist Kevin Wada (She-Hulk) and will be available in stores on June 5.
The hot new series and the much anticipated issue #5 will set Buffy on a heart-wrenching mission to save her friend. Eisner Award-nominated writer Jordie Bellaire (Redlands) is at the helm along with acclaimed artist David López (Captain Marvel). Whedon serves as story consultant for the series’ reimagining.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #5 will be available in stores on June 5.
