Today is my first day as an Editor at DC Comics. I’m very happy and excited and looking forward to hearing what you guys think of my books.

There you go, former Comics Alliance EIC Andy Khouri has joined DC. He left CA a few months back, and now he’s telling Ma Hunkel what to do! (Actually I have no idea what editorial office Khouri is moving to Actually he’s joined Brian Cunningham’s office, but Ma Hunkel is my default here.)
Anyway, congrats! At CBR and CA, Khouri proved himself to be keenly aware of the changes blowing in to the world of comics, and always provided an intelligent, sane voice on my comics media panels when he appeared on them. I’m sure he’ll be a big success at the New DC, which as mentioned before is shaping up to be an intriguing office indeed.
Everytime I read about stuff like this at DC all I hope for is JSA! JSA! JSA! JSA!
Congrats to Andy. And DC–they got a good one!
I’ve been following his work for a while. It’s nice to see a good comics journo go to DC. Good luck, man.
BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! What’s that line about keeping your enemies closer?
And seriously – this is just further proof that people who whine the loudest about books they aren’t reading just really want a job with said publisher. And he has the nerve to call other people fanboys.
