With so many different Marvel comics shipping each and every week, it can be hard to track exactly which comic books ships on which day. In fact for the All-New, All-Different Marvel Rundown, (our ongoing column where we take a look at each Marvel #1 in the All-New, All-Different line,) we were sure that the comics shipping this week included Rocket Raccoon and Groot #1. However, that specific title was already shipped to retailers a week early along with a few others.

Amazing Spider-Man #6, Howard the Duck #3, Nova #3, Obi-Wan and Anakin #3, Spider-Man 2099 #5, and Spidey #2 are all shipping early (with the aforementioned Rocket Raccoon and Groot #1.) While these titles were supposed to go on-sale Jan. 6, Marvel decided to let comic book shops sell them early on Friday, January 1st, New Year’s Day! The publisher erroneously shipped these titles to retailers early on Oct. 30 Dec. 30. For once in a very long time New Comic Book Day will occur early for Marvel.

Complicating this complicated story further is the announcement that the Marvel titles intended for Jan. 13 that were already shipped to retailers will go on-sale Jan. 6. Those titles include second printings of All-New Inhumans #1, Spider-Woman #1 and Totally Awesome Hulk #1. First printings that will be shipped early on the Jan. 13 include Amazing Spider-Man #1.2, Darth Vader #15, Spider-Gwen #4 and Ultimates #3. ComicBook.com broke the news, to which Marvel responded to with the following video and tweet.
