Love hurts. There’s a reason why there are so many songs about love lost, love unrequited, and everything in between. Have you considered summoning a demon to help you? Probably not, but in Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell, that’s the route a lovelorn teen takes.
Created by unfins, the web comedy series centers on Paul, your average teenager who is working hard to get the girl of his dreams to notice him. The normal channels haven’t worked, so the desperate adolescent turns to summoning a powerful demon from the bowels of Hell to help him. It’s the last resort, but hey when nothing else has worked, you go big or you go home, right?
Along the way, Paul picks up a few other tricks, tapping into magic and powers he clearly has no business using. Even the demon is confused, wondering why this kid called upon him to get a girl to like him.
The comic is funny, especially when the demon—the big scary beast from Hell—is all “Ummmm…why am I here?” As the story unfolds, you learn that the town secretly knows about evil forces at work (even though they are easily distracted by The Powerpuff Girls) and that seemingly innocuous characters are hiding some big secrets.
