On Saturday night at Baltimore Comic-Con, professionals and fans came together to honor the 2019 Ringo Awards nominees and to find out who won each category. Comics industry luminary Bob Wayne presented the Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards keynote address and presenters included Paul McSpadden; Arely ‘Arechan’ Mancini and Dean Haspiel; Ross Richie and Filip Sablik; Fred Chamberlain; Shea Fontana and Brian K. Vaughan; Katie Cook and Afua Richardson; Walter Simonson; Mitch Gerads and Tom King; and Cully Hamner, Craig Rousseau, Mark Waid, and Matt Wieringo.

In addition to Louise Simonson and Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez receiving Hero Initiative Awards, Image Comics’ Where We Live: A Benefit for the Survivors in Los Vegas took home two awards, with the publisher nabbing wins in several other categories as well.
