At tonight’s New York Comic Con panel, “2000 AD: The Galaxy’s Greatest,” publisher 2000 AD has announced a hardcover collection of late artist Steve Dillon’s work as part of its Apex Collection. Launching next summer, The 2000 AD Art of Steve Dillon Apex Edition will include pages from his 30+-year career with the company, pulling from titles like Rogue Trooper, Harlem Heroes, and of course, Judge Dredd.
Additionally, The 2000 AD Art of Steve Dillon Apex Edition will feature complete art for Alan Moore’s only A.B.C. Warriors story, “Red Planet Blues.” The painted colors are by Watchmen artist John Higgins.

The 2000 AD Art of Steve Dillon: Apex Edition will be released in 2024 as a standard edition available at your local comic book store via Diamond Distribution and in the 2000 AD webstore. The book will also be released as a 2000 AD webstore-exclusive edition with a special slipcase.
This book is an oversized, 19×14 inch hardcover that reproduces Dillon’s original art pages at their actual size. It will include approximately 128 pages of his most iconic artwork, honoring his legacy in comics.
The 2000 AD Art of Steve Dillon: Apex Edition will be available June 19, 2024. Pre-orders are available now.
Correction: The publisher of 2000AD and other books like this is Rebellion, not 2000AD.
