Brian Bendis’s Wonder Comics imprint for DC officially kicks off in January, and this week the writer has been slowly teasing the variant covers for the line’s flagship title, Young Justice, which Bendis is writing and artist Pat Gleason is drawing. As of today all five of the character-centric variants have now been released, and they’re pretty great. The Superboy cover in particular is a pretty clever take on the ‘distracted boyfriend’ meme. Check them out below:

Robin variant by Yasmine Putri

Impulse variant by Derrick Chew

Superboy variant by Jorge Jimenez

Wonder Girl variant by Evan Shaner

Amethyst variant by Amy Reeder

There’s also a black-and-white version of the main issue’s cover by Patrick Gleason available:

All of these variants are open to order with no minimum purchase requirements, which just makes them even better.

Young Justice originally debuted in 1998, and ran until 2003 when most of the team members joined a new version of the Teen Titans. The relaunched team of teen heroes features the original core line-up of Robin (Tim Drake), Superboy (Conner Kent), Impulse (Bart Allen), and Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), plus new additions Ginny Hex, Teen Lantern, and Amethyst.

Young Justice #1 is due in stores on January 9th.
