In recent years the gaming contingent of the South by Southwest festival has evolved to levels on par with other arts such as music and film to comprise one of the biggest caucuses of storytellers in the country. Telltale Games have been a part of that convergence which is only fitting that they’ll be back at the festival to drop the first details of their upcoming series based on DC Comics most popular franchise, Batman.

First announced at last year’s Game Awards, this new series brings the Dark Knight into the story based mantra Telltale is renowned for. Since its announcement no solid details have come forth only a bit from Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner in an interview with Kotaku saying the game would be “not like any other Batman game out there.”

On March 18th at 4:30p, SXSW will play host to Batman: Telltale Unmasked; a panel hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller where the team will delve into the studio’s view on comic’s most infamous detective.
