My Friend Dahmer, directed by Marc Meyer and based on Derf Backderf’s acclaimed graphic novel, has been one of the under the radar comic book movies of the year – but also one of he best reviewed. A trailer has been released, showing Disney Channel star and R5 member Ross Lynch playing Dahmer as a high school teen, and The Naked Brothers Bandstar Alex Wolff as Backderf, and…it looks incredibly disturbing.
Before he became a notorious mass murderer and cannibal, Dahmer was a teenager who went to high school and even had some people in his life…but even then he showed the classic signs of a psychopath including killing animals and being obsessed with their remains.
It’s strong stuff, and looks to be one of the notable indie films of the year.
