Well, now we know what those cryptic Marvel teasers from yesterday were all about. It seems Cosmic Ghost Rider is set to get up to some time-travel shenanigans in Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History, a new six-issue miniseries written by actor/comedian Paul Scheer (The League, The Disaster Artist) and Nick Giovannetti (Far Cry). The first issue is set to feature art by Gerardo Sandoval, though it’s unclear if he’s the artist for all six issues of the series.
Created by writer Donny Cates and artist Geoff Shaw in the pages of their Thanos run, Cosmic Ghost Rider is an alternate version of Frank Castle who became Ghost Rider after dying and making a deal with Mephisto, and ultimately gained the Power Cosmic in a deal with Galactus. The character has taken off since his debut, receiving his own solo miniseries and being featured on a series of Marvel’s themed variant covers.
