With the Justice League movie hitting theaters this weekend, the DC/WB synergy machine pops into action. Netherrealm the studio behind the DC Comics fighting game, Injustice 2, will be adding events and gear to celebrate the movie’s launch. Not to be outdone, Telltale Games have put out a new trailer for the upcoming third episode of their Batman series. Check em both out!
Batman: The Telltale Series- The Enemy Within episode three “Fractured Mask” looks to push its deep cover story with Bruce Wayne by leaps and bounds.
After an unexpected reunion, Bruce finds his attention (and his loyalties) stretched in yet another direction. Now, in addition to brokering a power struggle between Commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller, Bruce must balance romantic entanglements with his mission to infiltrate the Pact. As he plunges deeper into the criminal underworld, the villains’ plan starts to come into focus, but will his deceptions take a dire toll?
Episode three launches November 21st on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and STEAM PC service.
The Injustice 2 game will be getting a Snyder/Wheadon upgrade as the game is set to launch new events to celebrate the Justice League movie. In the game’s multiverse mode, new universe events will earn you costume gear inspired by the film where players can then shape characters to look like they came off the screen. Don’t forget, right now you can even play as Mike Mignola’s Hellboy in the game, who could probably take the entire Justice League if he wanted to.
