Once in a while I like to point you in the direction of something that won’t be free for long. Such is the case of Henchgirl by Kristen Gudsnuk, which ran as a webcomic but will soon be coming down from the web. It’s sort of Sex in the City meets Superheroes, as the sidekick of a supervillain has to deal with all the personal problems that come with such as gig. It’s drawn in an utterly irresistable style and written with charm and verve.
Best of all, the print collection is coming out in a few days from Dark Horse. This is the preferred version, so check out a few pages online then buy the print edition to hang onto as a keepsake, just like with the Franklin Mint.
