Yen Press has announced six new titles as part of their latest acquisitions. The titles include three manga debuts (The White Cat’s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King’s Lap by Yamigo Kureha; Wolf & Parchment with story by Isuna Hasekura and art by Hidori; and Sword Art Online Project Alicization with story by Reki Hawahara and art by Koutarou Yamada). The company also acquired two new light novel adaptations (Kumo Kaguy’s Goblin Slayer Side Story II: Dai Katana and Kazuma Kamachi’s A Certain Magical Index SS) and an art book of Keito Koume’s illustrations.
The company will announce additional titles during the Yen Press Industry Panel at Anime Expo Light on July 3rd at 1:20 pm PST.

A Certain Magical Index SS is the first spin-off of a popular light novel series. The A Certain Magical Index franchise has sold over 14.25 million copies in Japan. The English-translation of the original light novel was also published by Yen. The spin-off features illustrations by Kiyotaka Haimura.

Goblin Slayer Side Story II: Dai Katana, is the second spin-off for the Goblin Slayer dark fantasy series. The spin-off takes place a decade prior to the original and tells the story of the Sword Maiden and her party of six as they attempt to slay the Demon King.
Not a soul knows how the death and destruction started. Only one thing is certain—it came from the north. Deep within the Dungeon of the Dead is where the Demon King resides and the only hope humanity has of defeating this great evil rests on the shoulders of a handful of adventurers. The White Cat’s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King’s Lab was adapted from an online novel of the same same and should appeal to fans of shojo fantasy.
