Wynonna Earp is an adaptation of Beau Smith’s comic book series, which is published by IDW. The show follows Wynonna Earp, the great-great-granddaughter of “legendary lawman” Wyatt Earp. As the wielder of Wyatt’s special Peacemaker revolver, Wynonna has the ability to return revenants, which are reincarnated versions of the outlaws Wyatt killed, to hell. She works with a secret government organization, the Black Badge Division, alongside agents including Xavier Dolls, Doc Holliday, Nicole Haught, and Wynonna’s half-sister Waverly Earp.
