The PlayStation 5-exclusive game is now available to wishlist from the PlayStation Store.

The release date should provide Wolverine some breathing space from Rockstar’s behemoth Grand Theft Auto VI, which will arrive on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19. That game was originally intended to be released on May 26, 2026, when Insomniac first revealed footage and a fall release window for Wolverine last year.

Wolverine, which stars Liam McIntyre as Logan, will see the X-Men’s grumpy anti-hero head to Canada, Madripoor, and Tokyo in search of answers about his past. Villains will include the Reavers, Omega Red, Mystique, and a prototype Sentinel. It’ll continue a major year for the X-Men, who’ll return to Disney+ on the second season of X-Men ’97 later this year, and to theaters in Avengers: Doomsday on December 18.

The game will be rated Mature (17+), and you can rewatch the gory reveal trailer from last year below in the meantime.
