Not going to NYCC this year? Sure you could spend hours hunched over the computer waiting for the latest news to come out of the Javits center or if you like a little punk rock with your reading you can spend that Saturday enjoying a full day of art, literature, and music in San Bernardino CA at It’s Not Dead Fest.

Featuring performances by punk icons The Descendents, NOFX, The Adolescents, and the Vandals just to name a few; the event doubles as a mini celebration of the arts. Music touches almost every facet creativity and IND celebrates it by including other mediums influenced by punk rock. The festival includes shows-within-the-show such as “Punks Well Read” with appearances by authors like Star Wars: Moving Target writer Cecil Castellucci. The art scene gets an exhibit titled “Art’s Not Dead” featuring influencial artist like Mark Delsalvo and Natalia Fabia.

It’s Not Dead is taking over San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino California on October 10. The full festival schedule will be released soon and we’ll be there talking to artist, musicians, and writers all day.

Tickets and full lineups can be found on the festivals website here.
