Webtoon has announced that episodes of some of their most popular series are now available to be read in Spanish thanks to Webtoon Latinoamérica. The current update to the app will bring comics like Lore Olympus and True Beauty to more readers than ever before.
Webtoon announced the update on Twitter earlier today, tagging Webtoon Latinoamérica in the post:

“We’re thrilled to launch our Spanish-language Webtoon app for our ever-expanding audience,” said Penelope Ugarte, the Content Manager for Webtoon’s Spanish-language service. “It’s the next logical step to serve Hispanic readers with Webtoon’s vast library of globally appealing stories and expand our community of readers and creators. Webtoon Latinoamérica is positioned to become a major provider of webcomics to Spanish-language and bilingual readers around the world.”

Once the language settings are set to Spanish, readers can read some of the most popular Webtoon series in Spanish, including Cuentos del Olimpo (Lore Olympus), Secretos de belleza (True Beauty), Serás mi reina (Mage & Demon Queen), and Consejos sentimentales del gran duque infernal (Love Advice from the Great Duke of Hell), along with many other series.
To access the Spanish language versions of the Webtoon series, you’ll need to update to ensure that you have the latest version of the Webtoon app. Once the Webtoon app has been updated, open it and click the “more” button on the bottom right of the home screen.
From there, select “Settings,” and then click on “Content Language,” which will open a menu. When you choose the “Español” option from the ensuing menu, the in-app text and buttons will change to Spanish, and the Spanish language comics will be accessible from the home menu.
Presently, the 25 Webtoon series that are available in Spanish have seven episodes available each. By the end of the year, Webtoon Latinoamérica hopes to expand to 30 available series. New Spanish language episodes will be added on a regular schedule.
