I don’t really get the reference between the 2 illustrations, but the bottom one is either illustrated by Roger Dean, or someone owes him a prolonged tip of the hat.
“That’s no coincidence, boy…”
Al, the reference between the illustrations is that Dean Venture was apparently named after Roger Dean, which was revealed on last night’s episode of THE VENTURE BROS.
“HE’S HIT A FLOYD-HOLE!”
I liked the part when King Crimson’s In the Court of the Crimson King ( now remastered in a two disc DVD-A 5.1 version engineered by Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson) was yanked out of Dean’s hands.
That would have been too much for the dear boy.
“Bill Bruford’s rapid time changes could snap your wrists!!”

Ever since Hank’s name was revealed to be Henry Allen Venture I’ve been hoping to find Dean’s full name. I’m now somewhat convinced that it is Roger Dean Venture.
