There’s a Dark Horse sale over at Amazon that’s quietly popped up. I can’t seem to find an announcement for it and it’s a little random, but here’s what I’m seeing.
The base sale seems to be $1.99 Vol. 1 digital TPBs. Sort of like the DC Vol. 1 sale, but much cheaper. Then you’ve got a run of Buffy Omnibi on sale.
Here’s what I’m seeing:
- Buffy Omnibus V. 1 for $1.99 and then the rest of the Omnibus line for $5.99 each.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8, Vol. 1 Library Edition for $1.99
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8, Vol. 1 Library Edition for $1.99
- Hellboy Volume 1: Seed of Destruction for $1.99
- Frank Miller’s Sin City Volume 1: The Hard Goodbye 3rd Edition for $1.99
- Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Promise Part 1 for $1.99
- The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars Part One for $1.99
- Aliens: Defiance Volume 1 for $1.99
- (Frank Miller’s) 300 for $2.99
- Tomb Raider: The Beginning for $2.99
- Predator Omnibus Volume 1 for $2.99
- Frankenstein: The Mad Science of Dick Briefer for $3.99
So we could probably call this the “Buffy Omnibus Sale and Friends…” but whatever you want to call it, there are some bargains to be had.
I’m still mad retailers ruined all those marvel sales for us. I still don’t think it would have impacted them and it would have kept brining in new readers. Oh well.

Geez, that was fast! Looks like the Buffy Omnibi are still on sale, though. Just nothing for $1.99 anymore.
