Thanks to a partnership between Graphic Audio and comic publisher Archie Comics, you’ll soon be able to enjoy the adventures of everyone’s favorite Riverdale teenagers in a brand-new way: through the dramatized adaptation audiobook format! And first up will be one of the most exciting storylines ever to come out of Riverdale: Archie in Will You Marry Me?, A.K.A. The Archie Wedding!
Several incoming audiobooks!
In addition to The Archie Wedding by Michael Uslan, Stan Goldberg, Bob Smith, Stan Goldberg, and Jack Morelli, several other Archie Comics stories are going to be getting the audiobook dramatization treatment.
The titles announced include the spine-tingling Archie Horror comic Vampironica by Greg Smallwood, Meg Smallwood, Greg Scott, Morelli, and Matt Herms, as well as the popular re-launch of the flagship Archie series in 2015 by Mark Waid, Fiona Staples, Annie Wu, Veronica Fish, Andre Szymanowicz, Jen Vaughn, and Morelli.
When will Afterlife with Archie be back from the war?
According to the press release, which you can read in its entirety below this post, Graphic Audio is looking forward to presenting both “classic and modern” stories from Archie Comics in dramatized audiobook form, and that means that it’s time to wildly speculate about which Riverdale comics might be best suited for the full auditory treatment!

April 19, 2021 – Graphic Audio, a premier audio brand of industry leader RBmedia, has recently completed a licensing deal with comic book publisher Archie Comics. The groundbreaking ‘ARCHIE in WILL YOU MARRY ME?’ Storyline, also known as ‘THE ARCHIE WEDDING,’ will be the first of several graphic novel collections that Graphic Audio will be releasing in their dramatized adaptation audiobook format.

ARCHIE IN WILL YOU MARRY ME? will be available on Graphic Audio’s website store at www.graphicaudio.net and everywhere digital audiobooks are sold in late Spring, followed by the release of the hit Archie Horror graphic novel VAMPIRONICA and the groundbreaking ARCHIE relaunch by writer Mark Waid.
