Last Memorial Day weekend, the Teen Titans GO! and DC Super Hero Girls “Space House” one-hour crossover special aired on Cartoon Network. It looks like that won’t be the last multiversal crossover between the franchises, as a new listing on the Penguin Random House website has revealed Teen Titans Go! / DC Super Hero Girls: Exchange Students crossover original graphic novel coming in December.

Exchange Students is the latest collaboration from writer by Amy Wolfram and artist Agnes Garbowska, who previously worked together on the DC Super Hero Girls: Powerless graphic novel. Wolfram and Garbowska are intimately familiar with both franchises. In addition to writing comics, Wolfram is perhaps best known for work on the original 2003 Teen Titans animated series, as well as the current Go! iteration. Wolfram even penned the first TTG and DCSHG crossover with the Teen Titans Go! episode “Superhero Feud,” so she’s no stranger to writing the characters together.

Garbowska meanwhile boasts an impressive portfolio as an artist not only for DC Comics but a long run on My Little Pony for IDW and much more.

Teen Titans Go! / DC Super Hero Girls: Exchange Students arrives in stores on December 14, 2021.

Exchange Students crossover

Starfire has always wanted to be better friends with her sister, who mostly comes to Earth to cause trouble instead of enjoying the sisterly bonding. But this time, Blackfire’s not even in the same Earth dimension! The Teen Titans will have to go undercover in a strange new version of Metropolis…one where the heroes have secret identities!

Meanwhile, the DC Super Hero Girls have all been assigned exchange students to show around school. They’d really rather battle the new super-villain in town, but hiding their super-activities from the rather strange new people staying in their homes is proving difficult.

Surely that’s all a coincidence.
